Kamal Hassen to buy the rights of 'Ithihasa'

Directed by debutante Binu S, without a huge budget and big star cast, ‘Ithihasa’ slowly made it to a hit. The movie generally received good reviews as a worth watching one.

According to latest reports, ‘Ithihasa’ is going to be remade in Tamil and Ulakanayakan Kamal Hassen is going to buy the remake rights of the movie.

The discussions are progressing and Kamal Films has expressed interest in the movie. Reports also say that Kamal’s daughter Sruthi Hassen will play the lead role in the Tamil movie.

‘Ithihasa’ is the story of two clever thieves played by Shine Tom Chacko and Balu. When IT professional Janaki (Anusree) enters their life things turned topsy-turvy. The film revolves around the thread line a boy turns girl and a girl turns boy.

‘Ithihasa’ is scripted by Binu’s friend Aneesh Lee Ashok and the film is produced by Rajesh Augustine.
