Jayasurya next in a sports drama

Jayasurya will play the protagonist in the sports film titled ‘Captain’. The movie is based on Malayali and former Indian football team captain V P Satyan’s life.

‘Captain’ is directed by Prajesh Sen, who has assisted ace director Siddique. Jayasurya is seen in three varied getups in the movie.

The movie which is estimated to have a budget of Rs 10 crores is produced under the banner Goodwill Entertainments by T L George.

Bollywood sports movies ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ and ‘M S Dhoni: The Untold Story’ were both hits. ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ is another sports biographical film directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka, based on the life of cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, which is to be released soon.
