GRAHANAM - A Psychological Suspense Thriller

Inspired by True Events, GRAHANAM is a Psychological Suspense Thriller Malayalam movie made under the banner of Sreenandiya Productions. Debutant Director Anand Paga who has also written the story provided some insight on the movie. The screenplay has been crafted bit different from the common thriller genres as the film focusses on two subjects, one being the rarest in medical history and the other being deadliest to the society. Anand says that he has tried to keep the film fresh in terms of cast and story-telling and has included elements which will keep the audience intrigued from the start to the end of the movie. The film attempts to join all the untied and unsolved nodes with a gripping screenplay, vibrant visuals, feel good songs, light humour, suspense elements and intense emotions.

Most portion of the movie is set against the picturesque backdrop of Singapore. The lead cast involves Gibu George and Devika Sivan who are popular faces in Singapore owing to their predominant work in theatre plays, short films and TV shows. Important characters in the movie are shaped to perfection by actors like Jayaram Nair, Sudheer Karamana and Vijay Menon. The popular youtubers Sooraj and Ann from the We are a Sambavam fame also plays key roles in the movie.

The cinematography is done by Raj Vimal Dev and editing by Ajmal Sabu who has associated with films like Minnal Murali, Love Action Drama and 41. Music and BGM score is composed by Anandhkumar and Lyrics by Linku Abraham. There are 3 songs in the movie sung by popular singers like KS Harishankar, Vineeth Sreenivasan and Vaishnavi Kannan.

The first look poster of Grahanam was quite noted due to its innovative design and the poster was revealed by the versatile actor Fahadh Faasil.

The first song Venmukilay sung by Harishankar KS is quickly getting popular among public. This song was launched by Asif Ali and Sunny Wayne and shared by other celebrities like Anu Sithara, Ahaana Krishna, Vineeth Sreenivasan and Aparna Balamurali on their respective social media.
