French actor Jean Reno in Ajith Pillai's next

Ajith Pillai, the director of ‘Mosayile Kuthirameenukal’, which is noted for its exemplary cinematography and different presentation, is coming up with his new project.

According to reports, the film titled ‘Gypsy Moksham’ will have French-Hollywood actor Jean Reno in the lead role. Ajith Pillai said that he had discussed with Jean Reno about the movie and the actor has expressed his interest to do the movie. Ajith adds that only after further discussions, the final decision will be announced.

‘Gypsy Moksham’ narrates the story of a historian who makes an inquiry into the roots of Genghis Khan, the leader of Mongol Empire, in India and neighboring countries. Jean Reno will play the role of the historian.

The movies like ‘The Pink Panther’ and ‘The Da Vinci Code’ has made Jean Reno world famous. ‘Crimson Rivers’, ‘Godzilla’, ‘Mission: Impossible’, ‘The Big Blue’ are some of his other successful films.

Hindi and English will be used prominently in ‘Gypsy Moksham’. Malayalam too is given importance. Nepal, Bhutan, and Mongolia too will be the locations for the movie in addition to India. Nilambur in Kerala will also be a location.

Director Ajith Pillai confirms that ‘Gypsy Moksham’ will be a feel good travel movie and not a road movie. Some actors from the Malayalam industry too will be part of the cast. While ‘Mosayile Kuthirameenukal’ is set in the backdrop of oceans, ‘Gypsy Moksham’ will be set against mountains.
