Fahad Fazil is roped in by Vinod Sukumaran to do the lead role in his upcoming movie. The movie is titled ‘Islam’. Vinod Sukumaran is a National and State Award winning editor and director.
‘Islam’ is written, edited, and directed by Vinod Sukumaran. Actress Radhika Apte from Pune is the heroine of Fahad Fazil in this movie. This is Radhika’s debut Malayalam movie.
The movie is expected to start rolling from September. Sathish Kurup wields camera for ‘Islam’. ‘Islam’ is a love story set in the urban background.
Vinod Sukumaran has won the National Film Award for the Best First Non-Feature Film of a Director, for his movie, ‘Diary of a Housewife’. He has also won the award for the Best Editor in Kerala State Film Awards of 2007, for the movie ‘Ore Kadal’.
