Dr M K Muneer in 'Mashithandu'

Social Welfare Minister Dr M K Muneer will act as Dr M K Muneer himself in the upcoming movie ‘Mashithandu’. The film is the joint venture of the staff and students of Social Work Department of Santhigiri College, Vazhithala.

‘Mashithandu’ aims to proclaim the importance and value of education to children and also to make them alert on how to defend exploitation. The movie is scripted and directed by Anish Urumbil, teacher from the social work department of the college.

Poet and lyricist Murukan Kattakkada will also do his real life character of the poet in the movie. The film also has a number of new faces in the cast. Jinto John composes music for the lyrics by Murukan Kattakkad and Jayakumar Chengamanadu.
