Directors to act in Venu's 'Munnariyippu'

Directors turn actors for cinematographer-turned director Venu’s new movie ‘Munnariyippu’. The movie stars Mammootty in the lead role. Director Renji Panicker, Joshiy, and Joy Mathew do important roles in the film along with Mammootty.

Renji Panicker and Joy Mathew play journalists Mohandas and Chandraji respectively. Mammootty plays the central character Raghavan. Aparna Gopinath as journalist Anjali Arrackal does the female lead.

Venu himself writes the story and does the cinematography. R Unni pens the script and dialogues. The scenarist confirms that the film which has a different treatment gives prominence to humor and will attract all sections of people.

Director Ranjith turn producer for ‘Munnariyippu’ under the banner of Gold Coin Motion Pictures. Nedumudi Venu, Prathap Pothen, V K Sreeraman, Kottayam Nazeer, Sudheesh, Muthumani, Parvathi, Vinod, Sashi Kalinga also include the cast list.
