Directors eye Kashmir for their movies

Director Joshiy’s fascination for Kashmir is well-known. Currently he is shooting his Salaam Kashmir in Kashmir and Darjeeling. The film stars Jayaram and Suresh Gopi in the lead.

Another director who is eyeing for Kashmir is Boban Samuel, who had earlier done movies like Romans. Boban will direct a love story in the backdrop of terrorism. It is said that Dileep will be the hero and it will be about the hero falling in love with a Muslim girl and how he goes about to save his love amidst several hurdles. Boban is planning to cast a North Indian actress to play the love interest of Dileep.

The movie is untitled and YV Rajesh will write the screenplay and dialogues for Boban’s story. However, the exact date of shooting will be announced only after Dileep finishes his current film. Dileep is now busy with his Singara Velan.
