Dileep to lead in Sreebala's directorial debut

Award winning writer, short film maker, and associate film director Sreebala K Menon is going to be an independent director. Her first movie has Dileep playing the lead role.

The movie with the tag line “Jeevitham veendum aavarthikkapedunnu” is scripted by Sreebala herself. The heroine will be a new face.

Suhasini Maniratnam, Sreenivasan, and media personality Sasikumar will also do prominent roles in this movie. Thiruvananthapuram will be the main location.

Sreebala K Menon has assisted Satyan Antikkad in films like ‘Innathe Chithavishayam’, ‘Vinodayathra’, ‘Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka’, ‘Rasathantham’, and ‘Oru Indian Pranayakkatha’.

Her documentary film on Accamma Cherian and her short films “Panthbhojanam” and “Journey from Darkness to Light” were noteworthy. She won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for the Best Humor Writing for her book “19, Canal Road”.
