'Chayilyam' to be released on Jan 31

Manoj Kana’s debut film ‘Chayilyam’ which presents a novel visual experience will be released on Jan 31. Anumol does the lead role in ‘Chayilyam’.

‘Chayilyam’ is set in the backdrop of the rituals and customs prevailing in the Northern part of Kerala. ‘Chayilyam’ unfolds how a woman is tormented between life and beliefs. Anumol does the key role in this woman-centered movie.

‘Chayilyam’ has won many awards and accolades including the Best Debut Director Award in the International Film Festival of Kerala and the State Award for the Best Story.

K G Jayan is the cinematographer of ‘Chayilyam’. The movie is produced under the banner of Neru Films.
