Martin Prakatt-Dulquer Salman team’s ‘Charlie’ has a set a record in its opening day collection. The movie has crossed a sum of Rs 2 crores on the day of its release.
‘Charlie’ is a simple story with a perfectly blended script from Martin and Unni R. It’s all about celebration, happiness, surprises, and love.
Parvathy as the female lead gives one of her best performances along with Dulquer Salman. Soubin Shahir, Tovino Thomas, Aparna Gopinath, Nedumudi Venu also do commendable performances.
‘Charlie’ will be competing with the figures set up by Nivin Pauly's ‘Premam’ released in May which has collected Rs 3.5 crores in the first two days.
