‘Black Coffee' starts rolling in Ernakulam

Actor Baburaj’s latest directorial venture ‘Black Coffee’ went on floors in Ernakulam on Tuesday. The film, which is scripted by the actor himself, will have characters from Aashiq Abu-directed ‘Salt N’ Pepper’ (2011).

Baburaj portrayed the role of a cook named Babu in the film and it became a milestone character in his career. ‘Black Coffee’ features Lal, Ovia, Swetha Menon, Baburaj, Rachana Narayanankutty and Mythili in prominent roles. It is bankrolled by Sajeesh Manjeri.

Director Aashiq Abu will also be seen in a cameo in the movie. Baburaj had previously directed ‘Black Dalia’ and ‘Manushyamrugam’.
