Asha Sarath to be Mohanlal's heroine

After ‘Karmayodha’ and ‘Drishyam’, Asha Sarath is again sharing screen space with Mohanlal. Asha Sarath is the heroine in Mohanlal’s Priyadarshan movie ‘1971, Beyond Borders’.

The shooting of the film is progressing in Ottappalam. Rajasthan, Uganda, and Pattambi are the other main locations.

The film is based on the incidents that occurred in Rajasthan during Indo-Pakistani war of 1971. Mohanlal again plays Major Mahadevan and his son Major Sahadevan, the main roles in the other army films of Priyadarshan-Mohanlal team.

Allu Arjun’s brother Allu Sirish, Nikki Galrani, Arunoday Singh, Priyanka Chaudhary, Samudrakkani, Renji Panicker, Sudheer Karamana, and Saiju Kurup play prominent roles.

‘1971, Beyond Borders’ is produced by Haneef Muhammed under the banner of Red Rose Creations.
