Asha Sarath in Kannada 'Drishyam'

Asha Sarath who has played a police officer in Mohanlal-starrer ‘Drishyam’ will do the same role in the Kannada remake of the film too. Asha is the only actor who will be retained from the original version for the remake film directed by P Vasu.

Her role as IG Geeth Prabhakar in ‘Drishyam’ was well received by the audience. Navya Nair does the lead female role in Kannada which was played by Meena in Malayalam.

Ravichandran is the hero in the Kannada remake. The shooting of the film is going on now. Illayaraja is the music director.

‘Drishyam’ holds the record of having acquired the biggest ever satellite amount in Malayalam cinema and the highest grossing film in the history of Malayalam cinema.

The making of the Tamil and Telugu version of ‘Drishyam’ is also progressing now.
