Artist T K Padmini's life story to be filmed

T K Padmini, a strong feminine presence in the history of painting in Kerala, died at the young age of 29 due to complications in delivery.

She had left an indelible mark on Indian painting and had won several awards for her distinctive style in art. Her life is being painted on screen and Anumol plays the role of artist T K Padmini.

The movie titled ‘Padmini’ is written and directed by Susmesh Chandroth. The film also features Sanju Sivaram, Irshad, Shaju Sreedhar, new faces including Ayillyan, son of renowned artist C N Karunakaran, Amudha, and C N Sumesh.

The music is composed by Sreevalsan J Menon. ‘Padmini’ is produced by T K Gopalan under the banner T K Padmini Memorial Trust.
