Anumol to do a Theyyam character

Actress Anumol who did a bold role in Shambu Purushothaman’s Vedivazhipadu will be seen as a widow in her next. The film directed by Manoj Kana is titled Chayilyam and will showcase the actress as a widow, Gouri.

The film is about a woman who loses her husband while she is pregnant and later, how the people around her try to convert her into an incarnation goddess. She is being made to be the DevakoothuTheyyam and she has to fast for about 41 days. The movie is about what happens during the 41 days.

Anumol in a media interaction has said that she did not find it tough to wear the Theyyam character as she is a trained Kathak dancer.
