Anoop Menon's upcoming movies

Anoop Menon, actor, script writer, and lyricist, has neatly carved a niche for himself in the Malayalam industry. Without the qualities of a conventional hero (which he himself has admitted) – a six pack, ability to dance, unfit for action sequences – he is a hero.

He made his entry into the big screen from the small screen through Vinayan’s ‘Kattuchembakam’. He got a character with scope for performance after 6 years through Ranjith’s ‘Thirakkatha’. After that offers kept rolling on and he is now one of the busiest actors and script writers in the industry.

Anoop’s upcoming projects include ‘Pavada’, ‘Aamayum Muyalum’, ‘She Taxi’, and ‘Dolphins’. Of these ‘Dolphins’ is scripted by Anoop himself and directed by Diphan. The film which narrates the story of a bar owner, also stars Suresh Gopi in one of the lead roles.

‘Pavada’ is directed by Marthandan and Anoop Menon shares screen space with Prithviraj in this movie. Priyadarshan’s ‘Aamayum Muyalum’ also has Jayasurya, Nedumudi Venu, and Innocent in the lead roles along with Anoop Menon.

Anoop Menon again joins Saji Surendran after the success of ‘Angry Babies’ for the movie titled ‘She Taxi’. ‘She Taxi’ is a road movie scripted by Krishna Poojappura. Kavya Madhavan is the heroine.
