Amala Paul-Vijay tied knot

Director A L Vijay tied knot with Amala Paul at Chennai on Thursday, 12th of June. The function was attended by near relatives and friends.

The wedding took place at Valliammai Hall, MRC Centre, Chennai. The wedding ceremony was held according to Hindu customs and rituals. Priyadarshan, his wife Lissy, Maniratnam, Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Bala, Abbas, and G V Prakash were present at the function.

Amala wore a kancheevaram saree designed by well known designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Vijay was in the traditional South Indian attire.

They had been in a relationship for a while and got engaged on June 7 at St Jude Church in Aluva according to Christian customs.

Amala Paul’s new film ‘Mili’ will be released soon. Directed by Rajesh Pillai, Nivin Pauly does the male lead in ‘Mili’ which is a female-centric movie. Vijay is now busy with his upcoming project ‘Saivam’, the post production works of which are going on now.
