‘Akashaganga 2' goes back to its roots

After 20 years of its release, the sequel of the comedy-horror film ‘Akashaganga’ is set to roll on the location where the prequel was shot. Titled ‘Akashaganga 2’, the sequel will go on floors at Olappamanna Mana, Vellinezhi in Palakkad on April 24.

Director Vinayan, who helmed ‘Akashaganga’ in 1999, announced the shooting date of the sequel through his Facebook page on Monday. He also shared an old photograph that was taken during the filming of ‘Akashaganga’.

It features Sreenath Bhasi, Vishnu Vinay, Vishnu Govind, Salim Kumar, Hareesh Kanaran, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Riaz, Ramya Krishnan, new face Arathy, Praveena, Saranya, Valsala Menon and Niharika among others.

Prakash Kutty cranks the camera while Bijibal scores music to the lines penned by S Rameshan Nair and Hari Narayanan. It slated to release during Onam. Click the Movie button below for more info:
