‘Adiyantharavasthakalathe Anuragam' shoot in progress

The filming for actor-producer-director Alleppey Ashraf’s new film is going on at an brisk pace at Akathumuri in Varkala. Ashraf, who is also a well-known mimicry and dubbing artist, is wielding the megaphone after a gap of a few years.

The film, which has newcomers Nihal and Gopika Gireesh doing the lead characters, tells a love story in the backdrop of the tumultuous political milieu during the Emergency period. It is produced by Kuriachan Valakkuzhi under the banner of Olive Productions.

The cast also includes Usha, Hashim Shah, Kalabhavan Rahman, J J Kuttikkad, Nimisha, Riya Kappil, Ananthu Kollam, Ambukaran, Munna, Santhakumari, A Kabeer, Krishna Prabha and Alleppey Ashraf. The flick has screenplay and lyrics by Titus Attingal and music by Afsal Yusuf.
