Actor Rizabawa passes away

Actor and dubbing artist Rizabawa died at a private hospital in Kochi on Monday. He was 60. The actor had been undergoing treatment for diabetic problems for a long time. He died following a stroke in the afternoon, according to hospital authorities.

Rizabawa made his debut in Shaji Kailas-directed 'Dr. Pasupathy' in 1990. He is mostly remembered for his role 'John Honai' in the 1990 Siddique-Lal blockbuster movie 'In Harihar Nagar'.

Rizabawa acted in about 123 movies. In 2010, he won the state award for dubbing artist for the film 'Karmayogi'. His last rites will be performed on Tuesday. The actor is survived by his wife and daughter.
