'1971: Beyond Borders' shoot wrapped up

The shooting of Mohanlal-Major Ravi team’s ‘1971: Beyond Borders’ wrapped up. This is another war film in the Major Mahadevan series written and directed by Major Ravi.

The film is set in two time periods and is based on the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. Mohanlal reprises the role of Major Mahadevan and also does his father Colonel Sahadevan. The story revolves around two army officials, their life and relationship.

Allu Surish, Arunodhay Singh, Asha Sarath, Renji Panicker, Sudheer Karamana, Priyanka Choudhary, Samudrakkani, Saiju Kurup, Srushti Dange, Neha Khan, Padmaraj Ratheesh, Krishna Kumar, Manikkuttan, and Kannan Pattambi play important roles.

The movie will be released in four languages – Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Of these Malayalam and Telugu versions will be released simultaneously.

Sujith Vaasudev wields camera for the film. Rahul Subrahmanyam and Gopi Sunder are the music directors. ‘1971: Beyond Borders’ is produced by Haneef Muhammed under the banner of Red Rose Creations.
