Sarkar Colony Malayalam Movie

'Sarkar Colony' portrays the lives of ordinary government servants who with their meager wages, struggle to make both ends meet. Some of them turn to some extra business ventures to earn some quick money.

Jayakrishnan had earlier directed 'Kancheepurathe Kalyanam' along with Fazil. 'Sarkar Colony' is first film as an independent director.

Mukesh and Devayani is the leading pair of the film. There are also plenty of major actrs lending them support like Jagadeesh, Jagathy, Ashokan, Suraj, Salimkumar, Narayanankutty, Jaffer Idukki, Kochupreman, Sajan Palluruthi and others.

V.C Asok has scripted the film and has written the dialogues as well.

For M G Sreekumar's music, N.S Abhilash has penned the lyrics. Salu George has handled the camera.

'Sarkar Colony' has been produced by Rajeev Thampi under the banner of Amritha Productions.

The film has been completed in a single schedule and that too in record time of twenty three days. It was shot on locations at Thiruvananthapuram.
