After the critically acclaimed 'Mizhikal saakshi' Ashok R.Nath joins hands with script writer Anil Mukathala for 'Ekadasi'.

In 'Ekadasi' Suresh Gopi plays Nandan Menon, a journalist working with a prominent news paper based in Kolkota. Addicted to work, Nandan goes to any extent to get to the core of the story that he pursues.

Jyothirmayi plays his wife Indu. The couple are blessed with two children. His mother and his sister Aswathy (Navya Nair) stay at their ancestral home.

Nandan dreams about marrying his sister off in the grandest way possible. Nobody but Dr. Sulochana and his domestic aide Rajaram knew that Nandan had very few days left in his life. The man was suffering from a terminal illness.

Besdes Suresh Gopi, Jyothirmayi and Navya the film also has Manoj K. Jayan, Nedumudi Venu, Anoop Menon, Kochu Preman, Sukumari, Sree Kutty and several other actors doing key roles.

O.N.V has written the lyrics. Anil Pongumoodu had composed the music. Sandeep Nair has produced 'Ekadasi' under the banner of Nambikal films.

'Ekadasi' was shot on locations at Parassala near Thiruvananthapuram.
