Orange Malayalam Movie

Orange is a film directed by Biju Varkey who had earlier directed films like 'Devadasi', 'Chandranilekkulla Vazhi' and 'Phantom'.

'Orange' tells the story of Yakobi who is an orphan. He works in a dairy farm, where he drives his own lorry on a contract basis. 'Orange' is the name of his lorry. He falls in love with a girl, Saritha and gets married. The couple has beautiful baby girl, Diya.

When Yakobi meets one of his old friends Baboottan, he invites him to his house and this serves as the turning point in the story.

Kalabhavan Mani has been cast in the role of Yakobi and Biju Menon plays Baboottan. Lena dons the role of Saritha. Diya Babu is the newcomer who does the role of Diya, while newcomer Prakash Nath plays Muthu, a dairy farm hand.

Jagathy, Rajan P.Dev, Nedumudi Venu, Machan Varghese, Sona Nair and several other actors lend support.

Biju Varkey and Suresh Kochamminy have jointly written the story. The director himself has written the dialogue. Ramalingam handles the cinematography.

'Orange' would be produced under the banner of Swaraj films by Ravi Bangalore.

The film has been shot on locations at Marayoor.
