Jaaji Mallige Kannada Movie

Director Anantharaju, who had earlier given us 'Nanda' and 'Mast Maja Maadi', now comes up with 'Jaaji Mallige', which is a remake of the Tamil film, 'Devathaye Kandein'.

The protagonist, a young guy, goes around on a bicycle selling tea. In the course of his wanderings he happens to meet a college girl. Cupid strikes and they fall in love with each other.

A few scenes and some songs later, the girl marries someone else of her parents' choice. She is now concerned not about love, but about her future and material comforts. But our hero is not going to give up and become a 'Devdas'. Of course he is shattered, but he does something rather different. He files a case in the court against the girl. And then the story takes off. 'Jaaji Mallige' is all set for release.
