Moscowin Kaviri Tamil Movie

Ace cinematographer Ravi Varman has turned a director and has taken up a film titled "Moscowin Kaveri", a sensitive love story which is said to be very different from films in this genre.

Rahul Ravindran and Samantha are being introduced as the lead pair in the film.

The river Moscow, which flows through the capital of Russia, is calm and serene. It sharply contrasts with the river Cauvery which has become the cause of perennial conflict between Karnataka and downstream Tamil Nadu. The hero and heroine have the characteristics similar to these rivers. They are in deep love each other with heavy undercurrents which eventually sweep them away. Water is the underlying theme of the film.

Karaikudi, Thiruvarur, Chennai, Bangalore and Pune have been selected as locations for shooting the film.

Ravi Varma has just completed his camerawork for Kamal-starrer "Dasavatharam". He also has worked for several films including "Anniyan" and "Vetayadu Vilayadu".

Art Director Thotta Tharani's sets are said to be a strong point of the film.

Oscar Films executive producer Ramesh Babu, brother of Oscar Ravinchandran, is producing this low-budget flick. Ravi Varma himself shoots the film in super 35 format.

Besides the lead pair Rahul Ravindran and Samantha, there are two other characters _ Chennai model Yashoda and Y.G. Mahendran's son Harshavardhan.While new boy S.S.Thaman scores the music, editing is by Antony.
