Ayudham Malayalam Movie

M.A. Nishad, who discussed social issues in his first two films Pakal and Nagaram, didn't get to enjoy any success at the box office through those ventures. So it was but natural to change track and try a full-fledged commercial movie. And that's what he does with Ayudham, starring Suresh Gopi.

The whole state of Kerala is rocked when a powerful explosion occurs at the Vilayam beach immediately after Chief Minister Madhavan leaves the place after delivering a public address. Many people are killed and many more injured. The Chief Minister takes serious interest in the investigation that follows. And when he becomes dissatisfied with the way the investigation is moving, he intervenes and at his behest Rishikesh, a daring officer working with the Crime Branch, takes charge.

The investigation leads Rishikesh and his team to a youth named Anwar, who belongs to a very orthodox family. Nobody can believe Anwar can have anything to do with the bomb blast. Rishikesh continues his probe which takes him to places and people he never thought could be associated with such a heinous crime. This constitutes the plot of Ayudham.

Suresh Gopi becomes Rishikesh while Bharathi is the heroine. Karthika, Ashokan and Thilakan too play key roles in the film, which has been shot at Thiruvananthapuram, Dubai Media City and other places in Dubai. Ayudham will be brought to the theatres by Time Ad Release.
