Aakasham Malayalam Movie

Manoharan is an automobile mechanic. He is a simple man without any inordinate ambitions. He lives with his wife Bhanu, two daughters and mother. He loves his family, and his entire life is devoted to them.

Terrorists set off a bomb at the railway station. Police create a likeness of the suspect based on eyewitness reports. The picture that emerges closely resembles Manoharan. Accusing fingers are pointed at him. How this impacts Manoharan and his family makes the central theme of the film.

Harishree Ashokan plays the lead role of Manoharan while Jyorthirmayi plays Bhanu. Unlike his usual comedy roles, Harishree Ashokan has a very serious role to play in this film, which is being directed by Sunder Das. The director, whose earlier hit was Sallapam, prefers working on films without a top heavy cast. Aakaasham, which is being shot in and around Kochi, is nearing completion, and can be expected to hit the screens in late June or early July.
