Goal Malayalam Movie

Goal is a film that is being shot against a school background. The Good Shepherd International School at Ooty is the location where Director Kamal's new film, which has a host of new faces along with a number of seasoned artists, is being shot. The film is about teenage love with sports and inter-school rivalry forming the underlying theme.

Sam's first love is football. It's his love for the sport that gets him a place in the prestigious International School. Neethu is a 10th standard student of the same school. She becomes fond of Sam. In the meantime the captain of the school football team gets dismissed from school, and Sam finds his way into the team. This, and Neethu's undiluted affection for him, make Sam the object of his classmates' jealousy, and they do everything they can to denigrate him. Through all this Sam has the support of Mariya, a member of the canteen staff.

Rajith Menon, a first year engineering student at St. Albert's College of Engineering, Chennai plays the lead role of Sam. Mumbai based Aksha who has been into modeling since childhood, plays the role of Neethu, while Mukta plays the role of Mariya. The film is expected to be released in the second half of May.
