Director and actor Parthiban, a man who loves trying out new things is back with his own production. Even though his last own film Kudaikkul Mazhai had good reviews, it failed at the box office. So, Parthiban has taken care to keep the interests of the masses in mind while scripting and directing the film, Pachchakudirai. To be released on Tamil New Year day, the film is sure to catch the attention of the ordinary filmgoers.

His children, Abi, Kirrthi and Raaki, are producing the film. Sabesh Murali has scored the music with eight songs, of which five are sure to make the audience dance in the theatres. P.Selvakumar has done the camera work admirably. Parthiban himself has written the story, screenplay and dialogues.
