First time director Faruq Masudi forays into filmdom with "Rehguzar", which portrays the woes of Asian migrants in labour camps in the Middle East.
The film, which stars Jimmy Shergill, focuses on the thousands of Asian labourers flocking to the region to earn good money but are often forced to live in miserable conditions.
The film that releases Friday revolves around Rahul (Jimmy Shergill), an engineer who comes to Dubai with big dreams. He wants to be rich and famous but doesn't get instant success.
While struggling to make it big in Dubai, he meets Neha (Saloni Aswani), the young daughter of a rich Indian businessman (Rajiv Verma).
As the film progresses, Rahul's life undergoes a sea change.
Rakesh Bedi and Vrajesh Hirjee add spice to an otherwise grim story.
The film's subject is interesting and if the director has done justice to the narration, then it will be worth a watch.
