'Yakkai' starring Krishna and Swathi Reddy in the lead roles has been directed by Kuzhandhai Velappan. The film touted to be romantic thriller has been produced by Muthukumaran under Prim Pictures banner.

Actor Guru Somasundaram who has been acting in supporting characters and elevated to the lead character in the critically acclaimed super hit 'Joker' has played the lead antagonist in this film. The supporting cast includes Prakash Raj, Radha Ravi, Singampuli. M.S.Bhaskar, G.Marimuthu and others.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has rendered the musical score for the film. Cinematography is by P.Sathya and Editing is by V.J.Sabu Joseph. Bhaskar Sakthi has penned the dialogues.
