'Joker' Guru Somasundaram turns villain in 'Yaakkai'

After bagging huge acclaim for his realistic acting in ‘Joker’, Guru Somasundaram has now taken a new avatar as villain in his upcoming film ‘Yaakkai’.

Being Directed by Kulandai Velappan, ‘Yaakkai’ has Krishna and Swathi in the lead roles. The background scores and songs of ‘Yaakkai’ are composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

“If ‘Joker’ is one pole of Guru Somasundaram, then ‘Yaakkai’ will be the other unseen pole of him. The film will portray Guru Somasundaram in a completely new and fresh avatar. For acting he can go to any extent, and it is our pleasure to have him on board. Apart from the other normal baddies, this villain character in ‘Yaakkai’ will stand out.
