Murukku Malayalam Movie

Kumareshan, (Appukkutty) a native of Tamilnadu, makes and sells snacks in Kerala. He is helped by cook Chandran and family. Kumareshan and Chandran’s daughter Thamara (Ahana Kochar) are good friends. Thamara’s parents decide the marriage of Thamara with Kumareshan. But as they are poles apart in their looks and family background, Kumareshan finds it difficult to accept the proposal.

But as Thamara’s parents insisted Kumareshan agree to marry her. But Thamara tries to elope with her boy friend, Ravanan, on the day before the marriage. But Ravanan has some other plans and he asks Thamara to agree to marry Kumareshan. The resulting eventful story is narrated in ‘Murukku’.

‘Murukku’ is written and directed by Sunildutt Sukumaran. The movie is produced by R Chandrasekharan under the banner of Rare Pictures. New face Vijay Anand plays Ravanan. Indrans, Bheeman Raghu, Chembil Asokan, Sunil Sugatha, Sumangala, Subbalakshmi, Sindhu Ravi, Geetu Abraham, Shobha Singh, and Daya Balan are the other main actors in ‘Murukku’.
