S P Viswanathan (Captain Raju) is a clean and straight forward person whose decisions are always right and he execute them without bias and prejudice. This nature earns him a number of enemies among politicians and criminals.

Once he is trapped by his enemies and is jailed. His son Vishnu (Rohan Gowda), who has completed his studies from the Film Institue, is shocked to hear the news. He keeps aside his film dreams and fights hard to save his father.

Madhu does the role of an ideological Home Minister. Manoj K Jayan and Swetha Menon don film actors with their real name.
