Idukki Gold Malayalam Movie

Retired military officer Michael (Prathap Pothen) reaches his flat at Kochi to spend the rest of his life with his aged mother. He is always preoccupied with the thoughts of his school days and feels to meet his school friends after so many years.

He gives an ad in the newspaper to meet his friends. Two of his old friends –Madan (Maniyanpilla Raju) and Ravi (Raveendran) - respond to the ad and reaches Michael’s place. Madan is a rich planter now with a good number of farms and Ravi is in Thrissur.

They shared their good old memorable days that they spend together at a school in Idukki. They are overjoyed to talk about their school days. They also remember that they could not complete their studies and have to discontinue due to some reason.

The gang includes two more persons – T R Raman (Vijayaraghavan) and Antony (Babu Antony). They decide to find Raman and Antony too. Finally they are able to find their two friends. ‘Idukki Gold’ plots the interesting and intriguing experiences that they face in their journey to find their remaining two friends.

Directed by Ashiq Abu’ ‘idukki Gold’ is produced by M Renjith under the banner of Rajaputra Visual Media. Lal, Joy Mathew, Praseeda Menon, Sajitha Madathil, and Mer Jory are the other actors.

The script and dialogues for the story of Santhosh Echikkanam is written by Shyam Pushkaran and Dilish Nair. Bijibal composes music for the lines of Rafeeq Ahmed.
