Dial 1091 Malayalam Movie

‘Dial 1091’ is a film by Kerala Police in order to create awareness about the increasing sexual and physical attacks on women.

Three female plus two students acquaints youths through mobile phone and they reach the town by telling lies to their parents and teachers. They have not seen these mobile friends earlier.

The three girls believe their new male friends and spend time with them in hotel and park and only later do they realize that they are being trapped.

Their parents reach the DYSP with the missing complaint. ‘Dial 1091’ spreads light to a dangerous truth that prevails in our society.

Devan, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Shiju Rasheed, Murali Mohan, Rahul Rajith, Urmila Unni, Sijitha, Sindhuja, Anjali, and Bindu Varappuzha are the main actors.

The film is directed by civil police officer Santo Thattil. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are by Kodungalloor Circle Inspector M Surendran. Anand handles the camera. Shyamdarman is the music director.
