Chozha Ponnurangam who has made many films including Ajith’s debut Amaravathy is producing a film titled Kabadam under the banner Chozha Creations Private Limited. Sachin, Santhosh, Angana Roy, Anika and others are starring in this film. K Thirunavakuarasu is handling the camera while S. Sazzy has composed the music for the lyrics penned by Na Muthukumar. Jyothi Murugan is directing this film. He while speaking about this film said, “The story of this film is about love, lust and marriage between ultra modern couple. Due to misunderstandings there is a mental breakdown. What happens next is the rest of the story. The shooting of this film has taken place in Mumbai, Ooty and Chennai.”.
