Yami Gautam as lawyer in 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu'

Actress Yami Gautam will be seen as a lawyer in her upcoming film “Batti Gul Meter Chalu.” The film is said to be a social drama on the electricity issue faced by people in the country, especially in small towns.

The film also features actors Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Produced by Prernaa Arora, the film is directed by Shree Narayan Singh. Vipul. K. Rawal is the scenarist.

Anushman Mahaley cranks the camera. The film is expected to hit the screens in August.
