Wow! Rohit Roy will direct a film for Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Actor Rohit Roy who was recently seen in ‘Kaabil’ was always inclined towards direction. The actor has even directed a short film in the past called ‘Rice Plate’, featuring Shabana Azmi, Naseeruddin Shah and Anup Soni. And now the actor’s dream to direct a full-length feature film has come true.

Rohit will mark his directorial debut with none other than Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production house and has signed a three-film deal with him.

The actor will begin his directorial journey with a unique love story between a hit-woman and a non-violent professor. “Sanjay sir gave me the script. We should lock it by June-July after which I'll give him a final narration. I hope I live up to his faith,” revealed Rohit to a daily newspaper.

Rohit, who is thrilled to work with Bhansali, is simultaneously also working on another love story set in Kashmir, which again is given to him by Bhansali. Rohit has claimed that he became an actor by accident and now his focus will be on direction.
