Woah! Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan to be seen on big screen again

The last we saw this real-life couple on screen was in 2010 in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’ and if the buzz is to believed, the Bachchan couple might appear on the big screen together again after 10 years.

According to a report in a daily, director Mani Ratnam is keen to cast Abhishek Bachchan and his beautiful wife — Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in his next Bollywood film. Ratnam who has earlier worked with the Bachchan jodi in ‘Raavan’ and ‘Guru’ is extremely fond of them and is looking forward to work with them again. A source close to the director shared, “He (Ratnam) is very close to both Abhishek and Aishwarya. After doing ‘Guru’ and ‘Raavan’ with the couple in the lead, Mani has been planning a third film with them for some years now. The film will happen now after ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ in Tamil. Mani will return to Hindi cinema with his third Ash-Abhi vehicle.”

Now, it’s nuggets like these that make us very happy. Hope to see Bollywood’s off-screen power couple, on screen soon.
