Why I am not like Jim Careey, Suriya laments

Audio of Pasanga 2 directed by Pandiraj was released a few days back. The music is scored by Arrol Correli who earlier worked in Mysskin’s Pisaasu. The film is produced by Suriya for his banner 2D Entertainment and Suriya himself has done a cameo along with Amala Paul. The other artists are Bindu Madhavi, Karthik Kumar and Vidya Pradeep.

This film is said to be about city bred kids while Pandiraj’s earlier film Pasanga was about rural kids. While talking at the audio launch, Suriya said, “Initially Pandiraj wanted just 6 days of mine, but the shoot got extended to 14 days. Though Pandiraj’s narration gave an easy feel to my character, while shooting for the film, I had asked myself ‘Why I’m not like Nagesh, Robin Williams or Jim Carrey?’ because the role demanded such a unique performance”.

Suriya also added that Pandiraj had worked for five years for this script and that will definitely show in the film. Pasanga 2 which was earlier titled as Haiku, will release on the 27th of November. Click the Movie button below for more info:
