Los Angeles, Jan 8 (IANS) British actress Carey Mulligan says her "heart stopped" when she first heard from filmmaker duo Coen Brothers to feature in their movie "Inside Llewyn Davis".
According to femalefirst.co.uk, the 28-year-old said in a TV interview: "I was filming 'The Great Gatsby' in Sydney and I got an email and the subject line was 'The new Coen Brothers movie', and that's the moment my heart stopped really, because you never even think you can get a chance to even audition for a Cohen Brothers film."
"Then I came to Los Angeles and I was doing press and they asked me to audition, so I did in my hotel room, of this very angry young woman," she added.
Mulligan appears as fictional folk-singer Jean Berkey in comedy drama "Inside Llewyn Davis" helmed by Coen Brothers - Joel and Ethan.
