Los Angeles, Feb 5 (IANS) Teen pop star Justin Bieber reportedly said that he knew his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez was in love with him when they made love for the first time.

According to radaronline.com, Bieber, who reportedly consummated his relationship with Gomez in 2011, is said to have bragged to a friend: "I knew she was in love with me when she gave me her virginity."

The former couple reportedly went to Palm Springs, California, for a few days.

"It was in the summer of 2011. They flew to Palm Springs for a couple days and had a super private place to stay," said the source.
