Vishal's 'Poojai' slated for Diwali release

Chennai, April 17 (IANS) Vishal Krishna-starrer Tamil actioner "Poojai", which will go on floors Friday, is slated to release during Diwali. It will lock horns with Vijay-starrer "Kaththi", which is also releasing during the festive occasion.

"The regular shooting of 'Poojai' will start from tomorrow (Friday). It will release during Diwali," read a statement from the film's production house.

Shruti Haasan is paired with Vishal for the first time in the film, which will be directed Hari Gopalakrishnan.
