Visaaranai is selected for Oscars

Director Vetri Maaran’s Visaaranai was a much spoken about film which was produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar films. The film about police atrocities in jail was a nerve racking flick and featured Dinesh, Samuthirakani and others. Now this has been chosen as one of the Indian films to compete in Oscars at the foreign language category.

Producer Dhanush issued a press note which said, “Good evening everybody. This is just turning out to be a glorious day. After the super positive initial reports for Thodari now Visaaranai has been selected as the official entry to Oscars from India.
