Vijay Sethupathi's film, a Korean remake

Director Nalan Kumarasamy became overnight big shot after his maiden film Soodu Kavvum. His next film which has taken quite a while to get completed is termed as Kaadhalum Kadandhu Pogum which features Vijay Sethupathi and Madonna Sebastian from Mollywood.



Recently the director has admitted that this film is an official remake of a Korean film called My Dear Desparado. Nalan says, “I really loved the film. We acquired the remake rights for Rs.40 lakh (Rs.4 million) and made the Tamil version. The remake will have my touch, of course.” He also adds that the film will end when the lead pair will fall in love. This is a little strange because in most of our films, falling in love will be the starting point of the story.



Samuthirakani plays an antagonist in the film which is produced by C.V. Kumar and Studio Green. The film is slated for theatrical release on February 12. Click the Movie button below for more info:
