Vijay Sethupathi to enter Tollywood

Yesterday (22nd August) was Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday which witnessed warm wishes from all over accompanied by the announcement of his next film. The film to be directed by Surendar Reddy is titled as Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which is a biopic of Telugu freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

What is interesting in this film is the cast list from across various film industries. Vijay Sethupathi who is basking in the success of Vikram Vedha will be making his Telugu debut through this film. Amitabh Bachchan will also be playing an important role in this film. Nayanthara, Ravi Kishan, Sudeep and Jagapati Babu are also part of this project. AR Rahman will be scoring music for this film which is bankrolled by Ram Charan Teja.

The first-look of the film was unveiled yesterday at Hyderabad. It is reported that Vijay Sethupathi will be seen playing a British guard in the movie. His character is said to have an interesting transition from negative to positive.
