Vijay Sethupathi starts work for Mani Ratnam's film

Chekka Chivandha Vaanam (CCV), is the name of the film being directed by ace director Mani Ratnam. The film went on floors a few weeks ago but had stopped for a while due to the strike in the industry. Now the unit has begun work and Vijay Sethupathi who plays an important role in the film has begun shooting for this venture.

National award winning cinematographer Santhosh Sivan shared a picture of Vijay Sethupathi and wrote, “Awesome filming Vijay Sethupathi @ CCV shoot.” The image in monochrome, since then, has started going viral.

Besides Vijay Sethupathi, CCV boasts of stellar cast in the form of Simbu, Arvind Swami, Arjun Vijay, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh and Aditi Rao Hydari. CCV is jointly produced by Madras talkies and Lyca Productions. The movie is expected to hit screens by the end of this year. AR Rahman is the music composer of the film.
